Merry Christmas Everyone!
Christmas is such a wonderful time of year! It is so much fun to decorate the Christmas tree, put up the ornaments, bake Christmas cookies, and celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. HE is the reason for the season, and we are so grateful to have the opportunity to help other people around the world learn about the Good News of Jesus. It’s been a great (and busy) month for us, here are a few highlights:
Our baby boy, Trevor James Dunagan, was born on November 25th at 12:35am, weighing 8lbs 4oz! We are happy to report that the pregnancy and delivery went very well, and Anna and baby Trevor are recovering wonderfully. It is such an incredible experience to witness the miracle of childbirth, and we praise God for a healthy baby boy! We’re excited to see how God uses Trevor in the years to come.
Bible Distribution Project Underway! Thanks to some generous donations we have been able to purchase 400 bibles to be distributed this month in the villages of SE India. Please pray for our team in India as they deliver these bibles, and join with us as we pray that the bibles will reach the right people and that there will be many that come to know Jesus as a result of this project.
Christmas for Aasha “Hope” Children’s Home! Earlier this month we were able to purchase some special Christmas clothes for our Children’s home in India. In India it is customary for parents to get these clothes every year for their children, and we are happy that GPI was able to provide these clothes for our kids in India. Thank you so much for your support for Aasha “Hope” Children’s Home.
We are currently making plans for our next trip to India! We are tentatively planning out next trip to India in February or March 2015. Please keep us in your prayers as we finalize our plans later this month. This outreach will be a great time to visit the orphanage children, facilitate the graduation ceremonies for our bible schools, and minister in villages and churches.
Thanks again for your continued prayers and support for GPI. We are so thankful for all that God has done through our ministry in 2014, and it will be exciting to see what He has in store for us in the New Year. God bless you, and have a wonderful Christmas season!
