This has been a very emotional month for us and for Gospel Projects International. We have a lot to share with you, some great praise reports but also some very sad news. We are thankful that our hope and trust is in the Lord and nothing can change that even in the difficult times.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Psalms 46:1

Orphanage House Building Project Complete!

First of all, we are very happy to report that the remaining finances needed to complete the house building project for Aasha “Hope” Children’s Home in India has been sponsored! Praise God for his provision for this project, and thank you so much for your generous support to help give these children a place to call home.

This building project has been the largest mission’s project that we have worked on yet, and it feels so great to have this large need met. Also, the other education projects that we were working on last month have also been sponsored! Take a look at our What’s Up Next Page for more info concerning these projects.

Losing a beloved Brother in Christ.

june 1A few days ago we were shocked with some incredibly sad news: Philip Kumar (one of our national ministers that we have been supporting for full time ministry in India) was recently killed in a tragic driving accident. Philip was the director at one of our Bible schools in India, pastored a church, conducted monthly outreach meetings in rural villages and he and his wife even adopted an abandoned baby girl to care for as their own. His wife and children are obviously devastated by this loss, but they are wanting to continue the ministry Philip Kumar has started. We are going to continue to support Philip’s wife and family and we would like to ask you to join with us in prayer for comfort and peace for Philip’s family during this hard time.

We are also praying about some exciting opportunities for possibly opening a new Bible school and orphanage in Nepal. Currently the country of Nepal is recovering from the earthquakes and mudslides that have killed so many people and destroyed much of the country, and we feel that right now may be a great time to step in and bring the hope of Jesus Christ to these people.

Thank you so much for your prayers and concern for us and for our ministry. Please remember to keep Philip Kumar’s wife and family in your prayers, and also for the ministry the He left behind in India.

God bless,

Josh & Anna (& Katie & Trevor)
